The path here wasn’t a straight line from software into AI consulting — it ran through a logistics distribution center, then construction work, then several years of direct care and intake/coordination work at a welfare services provider.
That care-sector work meant sitting with real budget constraints, real reimbursement rules, and real consequences when a record was wrong or a deadline was missed. It’s the same discipline applied here: before AI touches a workflow, we want to know who checks it, what gets recorded, and what happens when it isn’t sure.
